LIGHTS ONLY |
This switch mode will activate only the LCD eyes and lights of the item indefinitely until the switch mode is changed from the lights only setting. |
TIMER/SENSOR |
In this mode, the sensor is active for 6 hours, then off for 18, repeating daily. During the active period, the IR sensor triggers one animation and sound cycle when motion is detected within 4 m (13 ft) and an 80° range. |
OFF/STEP PAD |
In this mode, the item activates for one cycle only when triggered by a Step Pad or Try Me Button (not included). It remains off otherwise. |

Important Setup Tips
- Adapter must be tightly screwed in at the Function Control Box and plugged into a wall outlet.
- Ensure that the prop is on the desired setting.
- If not functioning properly (ex: Arm, mouth, body and eyes don't move), ensure that cables are connected to their corresponding cable as shown in the instruction sheet.
- The item is compatible with external timers and preserves its setting when the power is turned OFF/ON.
- Check that the speaker volume is turned up.
- Be sure nothing is blocking movement or caught in moving parts.
- Indoor/Outdoor item.

Q: The sensor, chest light, or arm motor isn’t working. What should I do?
A: We recommend replacing the Ribcage (Part K), as it contains all of these components in one unit.
Q: Can I place the item outdoor?
A: Yes, Skelly can be operated outdoor, however, for best performance we recommend operating your item indoors.
Q: The jaw is moving, but there’s no sound/volume is too low. What should I check?
A: The sound is being broadcasted through your device, make sure the volume on your phone is turned all the way up. Then try adjusting a volume directly on Skelly's control box.
Q: What's the size of the head screw size?
A: Head screw size: M5 0.2 inch (5mm) diameter, 0.5 (12.7mm) inch long
Q: Lights aren’t working as expected/aren’t changing. What should I do?
A: Start by checking that the light cables are securely plugged in and the product is properly connected to their corresponding cable.
- Not turning on at all? - Check the power, try switching to the Lights Only mode.
- Not changing colors? - To change the color of the lights, navigate to Features > Edit > Lights
If everything else is working fine except the lights, the issue may be with the LED component and we recommend replacing the Ribcage (Part K).
