General Connectivity Questions

A: This item doesn’t support Wi-Fi connection, it’s designed to operate through Bluetooth at this time.

Q: Can I connect more than one product to my DecorPro App?

A: Yes, you can connect multiple products, but not at the same time. You can manage and make changes to each product individually by switching between them in the app.

You can see what product is connected under My Products section in the app:

Q: Can I connect to the product while it's connected to another device?

A: No, only one app-controlled product can be connected to one device at a time. To connect from a different device, first disconnect the current one.

A: First, make sure Bluetooth is turned on your device. Then, turn the product on and put it into Bluetooth mode, you’ll see a red light indicator turn on. The product starts in DEMO mode by default, so press and hold the MODE button for 7 seconds to exit demo mode. After that, open your app and try connecting again.

Q: I accidentally clicked “don’t allow” when prompted to allow app to access Bluetooth. How do I turn it back on?

Playlist Mode

Playlist is a list of recordings that will be played when the product is activated in Sensor or Try Me mode.

Q: Playlist mode isn’t cycling through my defaults. What should I do?

A: Make sure the item is set to Sensor mode, playlist mode only works when Sensor mode is active.

To switch to Sensor, press mode button twice and a red light indicator should appear near Sensor mode.

Q: How do I change the order of the sounds?

A: You can simply click and drag the sound around in playlist.

Q: Why are some sounds greyed out while others are highlighted?

A: The highlighted features are the ones that are currently selected and will play when the item is in Sensor mode. You can select/deselect the features by clicking the arrow on the left hand side and change the order of the features by clicking and dragging them around the playlist.

Q: What does the circle next to each sound do?

A: The circle shows which sounds are selected to play when the item is in Sensor mode.

Q: How can I delete a feature?

A: Just swipe left on the sound you want to delete.
Note: Default sound files can’t be deleted.

Q: I can't edit the feature. What should I do?

A: Make sure the feature you want to edit is selected first. Features must be selected before you can make changes.

Q:  My custom features didn’t save. What went wrong?

A: Make sure the product is connected to Bluetooth before making any changes. Custom features can’t be saved unless the connection is active.

Q:  How can I improve the quality of my voice recordings?

A: 1. Choose a quiet space. Pick the quietest room you can, away from traffic, appliances, and other people. Close windows, turn off fans, AC, or anything humming in the background.

2. Minimize echo. Rooms with carpet, curtains, and soft furniture absorb sound better than bare walls. If you can, record near soft furnishings or hang a blanket behind you to cut reverb.

3. Position yourself. Hold or place the phone about 6–8 inches from your mouth. Keep the microphone (bottom of the phone) slightly off to the side rather than directly in front of your breath path to avoid plosives (“p” and “b” pops).

4. Maintain a consistent distance. Don’t lean in and out as you speak. Stay steady so your volume doesn’t jump.

5. Use good posture. Sit or stand upright to let your voice project naturally. Avoid slouching, which can make your voice sound dull or muffled.

6. Warm up your voice. Read a few sentences aloud before recording to loosen up your vocal cords. Speak naturally, don’t force your voice deeper or higher.

7. Speak clearly and at a steady pace. Enunciate without over-exaggerating. Keep your tone natural but confident.

8. Control your breathing. Take quiet breaths through your nose to avoid loud inhalation sounds. If you need a pause, stop speaking for a moment instead of filling space with “uh” or “um.”

9. Avoid touching or moving the phone while recording. Handling noise transfers into the mic easily. If possible, place your phone on a stand or stable surface.

10. Do a short test first. Record 10–15 seconds and play it back to check for background noise, echo, or breath pops. Adjust your position or environment before the full take.

Live Mode

Live mode allows you to broadcast your voice through the item.

Q: Do I need to connect to Bluetooth again in Live?

A: Yes, app products use two types of Bluetooth connections: one for Playlist mode (recordings) and another for Live mode (real-time voice broadcasting).

To connect in Live mode, tap the Live icon > Record > Settings > Connect to Live.

Q: I can hear a sound delay. Is this normal?

A: Yes, a slight delay of approximately 1 second is completely normal and expected.

Q: The speaker makes strange noise and I can hear an audio feedback. What should I do?

A: We recommend to stay at least 35 ft. away from the product in Live mode to avoid audio feedback.

Q: Can I voice change in Live Mode?

A: This feature isn’t supported in Live Mode at the moment.
