Setting	Description
LIGHTS ONLY	Lights activate indefinitely until the setting is changed. No sound or animation.
SENSOR	This switch mode will only activate lights, sound and animation when the Infra-red (IR) sensor is triggered. The item will operate for one activity cycle with each sensor activation. The Infra-red (IR) sensor will activate when someone comes within an 80-degree angle from left-to-right, as well as from above and below. The Infra-red (IR) sensor has a range of up to 2 m / 6.5 ft/6.5 pi.
TIMER	This setting turns the lights and LCD Eyes ON for a 6hr period of time followed by a deactivation period of 18hrs. During the 6hr period, the animation and sounds will activate together with lights and LCD eyes for one activity cycle whenever the sensor is triggered. This cycle will continue indefinitely unless the setting is changed.
OFF/STEP PAD	This switch mode will turn the lights, sounds and animation off.
	Raise or lower the volume using the volume control turn dial, turn all the way down to turn the volume off.

Adapter must be tightly screwed in at the Function Control Box and plugged into a wall outlet.
Switch on the control box should be set to your preferred mode.
If not functioning properly (ex: head and hands don't light up, head doesn't move), ensure that cables are connected to their corresponding cable as shown in the instruction sheet.
Be sure nothing is blocking movement or caught in moving parts.
Ensure the base surface is flat and nothing blocks the movement.
Check that the speaker volume is turned up.
