Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q:  Why do my Chucky's eyes stay closed between activations?

A: Great question—it actually helps preserve the servo motor!

When the animatronic is powered off, the servo motor that controls the eyes may not have enough power to hold them in an open position. This is because servo motors typically hold their position by maintaining a specific electrical signal. Without power, they may naturally move to a default position, such as having the eyes closed.

Tip: We recommend keeping the animatronic powered off when not in use. This helps keep the motor in good condition and avoids potential damage over time.

Q: My Chucky is not making any sound. How do I fix it?

A:  Let's troubleshoot it together!

  • Double-check that all cables are securely connected—refer to steps 1.3, 2.1, and 3.3 in the instruction sheet.
  • Make sure the switch is set to Sensor mode—the sound will trigger when the sensor is activated.
