Control Box Settings

Setting

Description

LIGHTS ONLY Lights activate indefinitely until the setting is changed. No sound or animation.
OFF/STEP PAD All features are off unless activated by an optional Step Pad or Try Me Button(not included).
TIMER/SENSOR Lights stay on for 6 hours, with animation and sound triggered by motion. Then everything turns off for 18 hours. The IR sensor detects movement within 13 ft (4 m) and an 80° range, and the cycle repeats until changed.
Adjustable dial; turn all the way down to mute.

Important Setup Tips

  • Adapter must be tightly screwed in at the Function Control Box and plugged into a wall outlet.
  • Switch on the control box should be set to your preferred mode.
  • If not functioning properly (e.g. mouth doesn't move, eyes don't light up, body doesn't move), ensure that cables are connected to their corresponding cable as shown in the instruction sheet.
  • Be sure nothing is blocking movement or caught in moving parts.
  • Ensure the base surface is flat and nothing blocks the movement.
  • Check that the speaker volume is turned up.
  • Be sure nothing is blocking the sensor. Prop only speaks on Sensor Timer Mode or when activated with a Step Pad. See Operations Instructions page 4 for complete details.
