Adapter must be tightly screwed in at the Function Control Box and plugged into a wall outlet.
Switch on the control box should be set to your preferred mode.
If not functioning properly (LEDs don’t light up, eyes don't blink, arms don't move), ensure that cables are connected correctly, according to the instruction sheet.
Be sure nothing is blocking movement or caught in moving parts.
Ensure that the floor or surface that the item sits on is flat and level.
Ensure that the volume is not all the way down.
Indoor/Outdoor item.

Setting	Description
LED MODE	Light Functions: Red Steady, Yellow Steady, Green Steady, Aqua Steady, Blue Steady, Purple Steady, White Steady and Color Changing.
LIGHTS ONLY	This setting will activate the lights of the item. No animation or sound.
SENSOR	Lights stay on. Sound and animation activate for one cycle when motion is detected (up to 13 ft, 80° range, front, sides, above, or below).
TIMER	Operates like SENSOR mode for 6 hours, then turns off for 18 hours. Sensor is inactive during the 18-hour period.
OFF/STEP PAD	Lights, sound, and animation stay off unless triggered by a Step Pad or Try Me Button (not included). Each activation runs one cycle.
	Adjustable dial; turn all the way down to mute.
