Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: My Jack Skellington’s Head doesn’t turn/mouth not moving. How do I fix it?
A: Let’s go through a few quick steps to troubleshoot:
- Double-check all cable connections — refer to steps 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 6.1, and 8.1 in the instruction sheet.
- Make sure the adapter (Part U) is firmly connected to the control box in Part D, with the threaded cap fully tightened.
- Press the button on the control box three times to set it to Sensor mode — you should see a red light indicator turn on. This mode should activate lights, sound, and animation.
- Ensure nothing is blocking the sensor and that it’s properly connected.
Q: The lights aren’t working. What can I do?
A: Jack Skellington’s lights are located in his bow tie (Part M). Here’s how to troubleshoot:
- Check all cable connections — refer to steps 2.1, 3.1, 4.1, 6.1, and 8.1 in the instruction sheet.
- Try switching between Lights Only mode and Sensor mode to see if the lights respond.
- If the lights still don’t turn on in either mode, it’s likely time to replace the bow tie.
Q: Can I purchase 2024 replacement head for my 2023 Jack Skellington?
A: Unfortunately, the 2024 head is not compatible with 2023 torso at this time.
Q: What's the head screw size?
A: Head Screw: .2" diameter and 1/2".
Q: Where is the sensor located?
A: The sensor on Jack Skellington is located on the costume, and it comes as a separate part.
